ESOL

Who is the course for?
Adults who are living or wanting to settle in England Wales and Northern Ireland.
The entry levels are recognised by the Home Office for those applying for UK naturalisation and settlement. ESB ESOL Skills for Life are based on the ESOL Core Curriculum and are nationally accredited.

What level can I do?
We offer Entry 1, 2 &  3

Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements for these qualifications.

What does the course cover?
Each level has four sections exploring different skills:

  • Communicating personal information
  • Communicating information of personal interest
  • Communicating in everyday situations
  • Communicating opinions and feelings/listening and responding

Topics covered include shopping, transport, health, the neighbourhood and home, friends and family, looking for and going to work

This course may be free if you are currently unemployed.  Please ask for further details about eligiblity and costs
